Enclosing various inscribed sheet music editions of his songs, saying that he did not sign the Three's a crowd edition of Body and soul because "the lyric printed in this edition is one of the angriest things in my career. It was an unauthorized rewrite of Edward Heyman's lyric by Howard Dietz, which was printed in error and which makes me very unhappy whenever I see or hear it," etc.
